Story Walk Returns to No. 6 Mine Heritage Park
Posted on
Story Walk, a partnership with valleychild.ca and Comox Valley Lifelong Learning Centre, has returned to Cumberland!
A number of small signs, each representing two pages from Deb Pilutti’s children’s book “Old Rock (is not boring)” have been set up near the treed area of No. 6 Mine Heritage Park and will remain in place until Monday, May 17, 2021. Bring the kids for a stroll through the park and take your time as you progress through the story. Together, you’ll learn to appreciate the history and wonder of the natural world through the experiences of not-so-boring Old Rock, and you’ll discover that things are not always as they seem!
Story Walk will make repeat appearances in No. 6 Mine Heritage Park throughout the summer, each time bringing a new children’s story to life. Find more information about the program from Comox Valley Lifelong Learning.
